Hold Fast

Hold Fast

Arthur Thomson’s “Hold Fast” tells the story of Joey, a lobster fisherman content with the struggle of raising his young family in his rural New Brunswick (Canada) fishing town. It is a town on the Bay of Fundy that has seen generations of young men leave during tough times to make a living elsewhere. When an estranged family member returns from the Alberta oil patch with tales of riches and adventure, Joey’s role as provider, his bonds to family, and his way of life are challenged.
